▪️According to local media, the death toll has increased to 16
▪️Among the seriously injured - two crew members, including the co-pilot
▪️The crew commander had 30 years of experience and was formerly an Indian Air Force pilot.

🇮🇳 The runway at Karipur Airport, from which Air India Express's Boeing left on landing, is in a unique and dangerous place and located on the top of a mountain. Deep gorges on either side often make landing difficult.
According to DGCA, after the first unsuccessful attempt to land, the plane went into a go-around. During the second landing attempt, the aircraft's tyres got locked

🦠The flight was part of the Vande Bharat programme that has been bringing back Indians from abroad amid coronavirus pandemic.

✈️🇮🇳 Взлетно-посадочная полоса в аэропорту Карипура, с которой при приземлении съехал Boeing авиакомпании Air India Express, находится в уникальном и опасном месте и расположена на вершине горы. Глубокие ущелья с обеих сторон часто затрудняют посадку.
Как сообщает DGCA, после первой неудачной попытки приземления самолет ушел на второй круг. Во время второй попытки заблокировались шины самолета
