On the night of July 28-29, group A of the KGB of Belarus with support of Riot police detained 33 militants of the famous PMC Wagner in Minsk, BelTA informs
According to state agency, Belarusian security forces received information about arrival in Belarus "of more than 200 militants to destabilize situation during the election campaign."
Upon arrival in the capital on the night of July 24-25, group checked into one of the hotels in Minsk and was supposed to move out on July 25, but left the hotel on July 27 and moved to one of Minsk sanatoriums
According to administration of sanatorium, visitors attracted the attention of the administration by uncharacteristic behavior for Russian tourists 🙃 and uniform military-style clothing. They didn't drink alcohol, and didn't visit entertainment establishments, kept apart, trying not to attract attention to themselves. Однако он усомнился, что наемники прибыли в Минск с целью дестабилизации обстановки и предположил, что Беларусь была всего-лишь "перевалочным пунктом" перед отправкой в "горячие точки (Сирию и Ливию)
