🇩🇪 🇸🇪🇨🇭🇳🇱 NoName057(16) осуществила 14 атак в Германии, некоторые из них длились несколько дней и затронули 230 организаций, включая оружейные заводы, энергетические компании и гос.учреждения. Атаки также проводились по всей Европе во время выборов в Европарламент. 🔴 За тотальный провал в Европе вчера, 17 июля, из Администрации Путина был уволен Михаил Дудин, который отвечал за работу с Telegram и Tg-каналами.  Он является кадровым сотрудником ФСБ РФ и в АП РФ был прикомандирован. Начинал Дудин с организации DDOS-атак на free.navalny.com, после чего пошел на повышение.

Operation Eastwood
🚨🇪🇺❌🇷🇺 Eurojust and Europol have uncovered and dismantled a hacker group linked to an IT structure created by the Kremlin – the NoName057(16) group, responsible for numerous DDoS attacks on critical infrastructure across Europe, — official statement from July 16

Between 14 and 17 July, a joint international operation, known as Eastwood and coordinated by Europol and Eurojust, targeted the cybercrime network NoName057(16). Law enforcement and judicial authorities from Czechia, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United States took simultaneous actions against offenders and infrastructure belonging to the pro-Russian cybercrime network. The investigation was also supported by ENISA, as well as Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Denmark, Latvia, Romania and Ukraine. The private parties ShadowServer and abuse.ch also assisted in the technical part of the operation.
During an action day on 15 July, the botnet using hundreds of computer systems worldwide was shut down and seven arrest warrants were issued, including against the main instigators living in the Russian Federation.

🇩🇪 🇸🇪🇨🇭🇳🇱 NoName057(16) has executed 14 attacks in Germany, some of them lasting multiple days and affecting around 230 organisations including arms factories, power suppliers and government organisations. Attacks were also executed across Europe during the European elections. In Sweden, authorities and bank websites were targeted, while in Switzerland multiple attacks were carried out during a video message given by the Ukrainian President to the Joint Parliament in June 2023, and during the Peace Summit for Ukraine in June 2024. Most recently, the Netherlands was targeted during the NATO Summit at the end of June.

⏺To execute their attacks, the group recruited supporters through a messaging service (likely Telegram). It is estimated that the hackers were able to mobilise around 4000 users who supported their operations by downloading malware that made it possible for them to participate in the DDoS attacks. The group also built its own botnet using hundreds of servers around the world that increased the attack load, causing more damage.

❗️It's quite possible that today's global DDoS attack that took down the servers of X (twitter), WhatsApp, Facebook, Discord, Instagram, Zoom, Gmail, TikTok, OpenAI and even Google was a retaliatory action by the Kremlin

🔴 For the total failure in Europe yesterday, July 17, Mikhail Dudin, who was responsible for working with Telegram and Tg channels, was fired from the Putin Administration. He is a career employee of the FSBand was seconded to the Presidential Administration. Dudin started by organizing DDOS attacks on free.navalny.com, after which he was promoted.

❗️️Friends, we have some good news and bad news for you.

Good news: the translator in Telegram is finally working again.

Bad news: in many regions around the world, Grok has not been working in Telegram since the evening of 17th July CEST up to now — both via the verified xAI chatbot (@GrokAI) and through third-party chatbots.

All the currently stable models operating in Telegram works exclusively through chatbots based on OpenAI’s chatGPT — even Google’s Gemini.

No one knows exactly what is going on; the official x.ai website redirects Grok-4 API requests to the Grok-3-core API (grok.com).

The same Grok-3 version responds to users through the verified xAI chatbot (@GrokAI) in some parts of the world; but in Eastern Europe, the official chatbot is mostly unavailable, even for premium accounts. Neither xAI nor Telegram has provided explanations, which suggests there is at least a server-side issue affecting some of xAI’s European servers.

When refreshing the session in both tested bots related specifically to Grok-4 (@GrokAI, @Grok4_AiG_bot), a standard welcome message appears, but no further replies follow (in @Grok4_AiG_bot — a placeholder response from the developer).

Most likely, the problems are connected both to the scandal during the Grok-4 test trials on July 8 ("Mecha-Hitler" and everything else), and to the global outage on July 18, when X’s servers and some other platforms went down for a day. Given the coincidence of Grok-4’s Telegram outage dates and the fallback to Grok-3, the second explanation seems more probable.

From January to April 2025, Morgan Stanley was able to sell about $11 billion of X debt without major losses.

In early June, it became known that Morgan Stanley was trying to sell an additional $5 billion of debt for xAI — the loan was intended to finance the construction of data centers for training the new large language model Grok (Grok-4).

Morgan Stanley hoped to sell the debt at par value, but after Musk’s conflict with Trump, its price dropped to $0.95–0.97 per dollar. Initially, the bank expected to sell part of the loans and bonds with a 12% interest rate, which signals a high risk level for the debt. At the same time, xAI tried to organize the sale of $300 million in shares, valuing the company at $113 billion, according to WSJ sources.

⏺Trump stems from the likelihood that 'horrible states' will hold up innovations because of extremely high standards — which is partly true, as all AIs have significantly worsened since the sharp tightening of regulations beginning in late May. On the other hand, Musk's reckless AI policy — "the worse, the better" — looks like a "black mirror" reflection of the radical tightening.

⏺Maybe a hybrid control — federal oversight for military AI, state control for commercial AI — could ensure a balance between security and sovereignty.
