This is the most ambitious expansion in military manufacturing since the Soviet era.
Large composite solid propellant motors are used in a significant proportion of Russian ICBMs and the latest submarine-launched ballistic missiles.

Analysts, citing satellite images, report that construction work and modernization of abandoned Soviet enterprises are underway at several sites in Altai, Rostov, near Moscow, St. Petersburg and Perm.

🇷🇺💸🚀🇺🇦Moscow has spent over $18 billion on air strikes in Ukraine alone, — Radio Liberty
In total, by February 2024, Russia's total spending on deploying troops for military aggression against a neighboring state amounted to about $211 billion, Reuters reports, citing Pentagon data.

📌In addition, in 2024-2027, Moscow plans to allocate 1.3 trillion rubles to restore the occupied territories of Ukraine destroyed by the Russian army, which will increase the budget deficit to 3.3 trillion rubles, or 1.7% of GDP

📌Expenditures on “national defense” in 2025 will reach a record 13.2 trillion rubles, which is 22% more than in 2024, and almost twice as much as in 2023.

📌Military spending will amount to 32.5% of all budget expenditures (6.3% of GDP) — a level not seen since the Soviet era.

📌Meanwhile, Russian infrastructure continues to rapidly deteriorate — the degree of wear and tear of pipelines and housing and communal services systems has reached 70%, and treatment facilities are 80-90% worn out.
