The Finnish state-controlled data services provider, Cinia, said “a fault" was detected Monday in the C-Lion1 cable that runs nearly 1.200 kilometers (746 miles) from the Finnish capital, Helsinki, to the German port city of Rostock.

‼️🇷🇺 Несколько дней назад бывший секретарь Совбеза РФ Николай Патрушев дал интервью Коммерсанту, в котором недвусмысленно предупредил, что Дональд Трамп может повторить судьбу Джона Кеннеди, а Европа — лишиться подводных оптоволоконных кабелей, обеспечивающих весь мир интернетом, если Трамп "не выполнит обещания, данные третьим лицам".

— Для достижения успеха на выборах Дональд Трамп опирался на определенные силы, перед которыми у него имеются соответствующие обязательства. И как человек ответственный, он будет обязан их исполнить.

Нам известно о двух случаях покушения на его жизнь в ходе предвыборной кампании. В целом же за всю историю Соединенных Штатов на жизнь президентов и кандидатов покушались регулярно — более 20 раз. Во время пребывания на своем посту от рук убийц погибли четыре президента США. Cпецслужбам США крайне важно не допустить повторения подобных случаев.

📌Патрушев также заявил, что российский флот в Каспийском море якобы защищает регион от возможного вторжения кораблей НАТО. Однако стоит напомнить, что Каспий — это замкнутый водоем, и корабли Североатлантического альянса физически не могут туда попасть

«Американцами и их европейскими союзниками взят курс на милитаризацию Балтийского моря. Дальше Патрушев рассказал о том, что Россия готовит операцию под "чужим флагом", которую «можно описать одним словом — хаос»:

«...американцы и англичане рассматривают диверсию на «Северных потоках» в качестве одного из методов продвижения своих экономических интересов. Под их удар могут попасть новые объекты инфраструктуры, в том числе морские оптоволоконные кабели, обеспечивающие связь во всем мире», — сказал Патрушев

⁉️🇷🇺 A few days ago, former Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev gave an interview to Kommersant, in which he unequivocally warned that Donald Trump could repeat the fate of John Kennedy, and Europe could lose its underwater fiber-optic cables that provide the entire world with internet, if Trump "does not fulfill his promises made to third parties."

"The election campaign is over," Patrushev noted. "To achieve success in the election, Donald Trump relied on certain forces to which he has corresponding obligations. As a responsible person, he will be obliged to fulfill them."

In a curious follow-up about Trump’s susceptibility to being pressured and influenced, Patrushev made another eyebrow-raising comment: Rather than answer the question directly, the Putin aide made a point to bring up assassination attempts against the president-elect.

“We know of two cases of attempts on his life during the election campaign. In general, throughout the history of the United States, attempts have been made on the lives of presidents and candidates regularly—more than 20 times. Four U.S. presidents have died at the hands of assassins while in office. It is extremely important for U.S. intelligence agencies to prevent a repetition of such cases.”

📌Patrushev also said that the Russian fleet in the Caspian Sea allegedly protects the region from a possible invasion by NATO ships. However, it's worth recalling that the Caspian is a closed body of water, and ships of the North Atlantic Alliance cannot physically get there

"The Americans and their European allies have set a course for the militarization of the Baltic Sea. The presence of the Russian fleet in the Caspian Sea is holding back attempts by coastal states to open their waters to the naval forces of third countries — the US and members of the North Atlantic Alliance," Patrushev said.

Then Patrushev spoke quite frankly about how Russia was preparing a “false flag” operation, which “can be described in one word – chaos”:

"...the Americans and the British consider sabotage on Nord Stream as one of the methods of advancing their economic interests. New infrastructure facilities, including marine fiber-optic cables that provide communications throughout the world, could come under attack," Patrushev said.
