❗️The Kremlin has tasked Russian diplomats with “increasing” the threat of using nuclear weapons, since the West has ceased to fear it

The diplomats were asked to show the West the "escalation ladder" - to explain in detail what steps Russia might take in response to certain actions by the West. If the lower rungs of the "ladder" could include cyberattacks and drone strikes, then the very top rung could include launching nuclear weapons at the enemy. This could be preceded by a demonstration of nuclear capabilities - a strike on an uninhabited territory (the country isn't named).

▪️Микоплазменная (атипичная) пневмония – это инфекционная болезнь легких, вызванная микроорганизмами рода Mycoplasma. Они не имеют клеточной стенки, поэтому у них есть возможность существовать только в клетках организма-хозяина. Во внешней среде патоген может быть жизнеспособен лишь пару часов. Но если своевременно не начать лечебные мероприятия, то патологический процесс начинает распространяться за пределы легких, поражая нервную систему, суставы, почки и другие органы

Нац. институт инфекц. заболеваний (NIID) зафиксировал 378 случаев только за первые 2 месяца этого года, в то время как за весь 2023 был - 941 случай СТСС. В NIID опасаются, что в этом году их кол-во может сильно возрасти из-за высоковирулентных и инфекционных штаммов
30 % случаев заканчиваются летально

They do not have a cell wall, so they can only exist in the cells of the host organism. In the external environment, the pathogen can only be viable for a couple of hours. But if treatment is not started in a timely manner, the pathological process begins to spread beyond the lungs, affecting the nervous system, joints, kidneys and other organs

A rare but dangerous bacterial infection is spreading at record speed in Japan. It is streptococcus-induced toxic shock syndrome (STSS). The Japanese health authority, the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), has already registered 378 cases only in the first two months of this year. For comparison: In the whole of 2023, there were a total of 941 cases of STSS. The NIID fears that the numbers could rise significantly this year after highly virulent and infectious strains were detected.

The cause of the rapid increase in the bacterial infection, which can be fatal in some cases, is still unclear.

What is particularly worrying is that while older people are usually the risk group, Japan is now seeing an increase in deaths among people under 50. Of the 65 people under 50 who were diagnosed with STSS between July and December 2023, about a third died, the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun reports.

30 % of cases are fatal
Most STSS cases are caused by a bacterium called Streptococcus pyogenes.

В Екатеринбурге из-за пневмонии на дистанционное обучение ушли 29 школ из 168

📌Всего же, начиная с середины октября, рост заболеваемости пневмонией зафиксирован в 16 регионах России.

Среди наиболее пострадавших регионов — Коми, Удмуртия, Свердловская, Томская и Псковская области. Основной возбудитель — микоплазма⚠️☝️
