В манёврах Baana-24 впервые приняли участие три немецких истребителя Eurofighter из 71-й тактической эскадрильи Люфтвафее.
Они приземлились и взлетели с дороги у деревни Хосио в 180 км от границы РФ, отрабатывая приземление на короткой дистанции. Затем самолёты выруливали до конца полосы и заправлялись там при работающих двигателях. После дозаправки они снова взлетели и вернулись на авиабазу Рованиеми, откуда до финско-российской границы ещё меньше — всего 147 км.

Three German Eurofighters from the 71st Tactical Squadron of the Luftwaffe took part in the Baana-24 maneuvers for the first time.
They landed and took off from the road near the village of Hosio, 180 km from the Russian border, practicing landing at a short distance. Then the planes taxied to the end of the runway and refueled there with the engines running. After refueling, they took off again and returned to the Rovaniemi airbase, from where the Finnish-Russian border is even less — only 147 km.

🇷🇸 Meanwhile, the tactical exercises "Drina-2024" are taking place in Serbia for servicemen of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, the 63rd Parachute Brigade and the special purpose military police unit "Cobra".
The aim of the exercises, which lasted several days, was to test and further improve the ability of special forces to prepare and conduct combat operations in mountainous terrain using modern weapons and military equipment, the Serbian Defense Ministry reported
