▪️The police arrested the man in Hammerfest and have seized drones and electronic devices that now are being analyzed
In addition, his yacht Firebird, which had been sailing around Svalbard and along the coast of Norway for several months since this summer, is arrested.
▪️This arrest comes only days after six other Russian citizens were arrested, four in Mosjøen, one in Tromsø and one in Kirkenes. During the arrest, the Russians were found to have drones and many hours of recordings of strategic objects.
▪️Norway has recently introduced heightened security and preparedness around objects of key strategic importance.

⚡️🇷🇺😎🇳🇴Сегодня стало известно, что 17 ноября в Норвегии за незаконный запуск дронов на Шпицбергене был задержан сын экс‑главы РЖД Владимира Якунина, близкого друга Путина, ранее уже неоднократно замешанного в шпионских скандалах.
▪️При задержании у подозреваемого изъяли дроны и электронные устройства, которые полиция сейчас исследует.
Кроме того, арестована его яхта Firebird, которая плавала вокруг Шпицбергена и вдоль побережья Норвегии в течение нескольких месяцев, начиная с лета этого года.
▪️Этот арест произошел всего через несколько дней после того, как были арестованы еще шесть граждан России: четверо в Мушёэне, один в Тромсё и один в Киркенесе. Все русские были задержаны с дронами и многочасовыми записями стратегических объектов.
▪️Недавно Норвегия ввела повышенную боеготовность вокруг объектов, имеющих ключевое стратегическое значение.
