The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a resolution according to which #Russia is a terrorist state, and the Russian presence in the #UN Security Council is illegal.

Key points of the Resolution:

▪️ condemnation of the aggression of the Russian Federation and its recognition as a crime under international law;
▪️ confirmation of the sovereignty of Ukraine;
▪️acceleration of the creation of a special international tribunal for Russian war criminals;
▪️creation of a comprehensive international compensation mechanism for Ukraine, including an international register of losses;
▪️providing Ukraine with air defense systems;
▪️putting the issue of Russia's responsibility on the top agenda of the forthcoming 4th summit of heads of state of the Council of Europe;
▪️clearing international organizations of Russian agents and spies;
▪️the question of the expediency of Russia's participation in the UN.

The resolution was adopted unanimously, 99 of the 100 deputies present in the hall voted "FOR" and only 1 abstained.
