🇺🇦Late evening, on September 14, after Zelensky visited the de-occupied Izyum, a passenger car crashed into the presidential cortege in Kyiv on Victory Square at about 12 midnight.

Police and military doctors provided first aid to the driver before the ambulance arrived. The president himself received only light bruises as a result of the accident, the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Nikiforov said.

“The accident had no effect on the president's health and ability to work. Everything is fine with him, he has been working since morning. All events scheduled today are going according to schedule,” Nikiforov said.

The State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine opened a criminal case.

‼️🇺🇸 Bill to deem #Russia as state sponsor of terrorism has been submitted to the #US Senate
Two senators – Democrat Richard Blumenthal and Republican Lindsey Graham – introduced a bipartisan bill to the upper house of the US Congress, according to which Russia is qualified as a state sponsor of terrorism.
At a press conference the senators said, that such a measure is relevant because of the numerous killings of civilians and other manifestations of cruelty.
The date of the vote in Congress hasn't yet been announced.
▪️Earlier, the Senate already passed a resolution that called on the Biden administration to give Russia such a status, but Biden said he would not approve of such a designation (❓)
