❗️🇱🇹 Lithuania's cyber watchdog, the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), noted an increase in DDoS attacks against the country last Friday, saying that threat actors targeted government agencies, transport, and finance sectors.
▪️Killnet is a pro-Russian hacker group known for its DoS (denial of service) and DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks on government institutions in several countries during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

⁉️Oddly enough, in the story with #Kaliningrad (as in the story with the blockade of Ukrainian ports), Moscow is counting not so much on the help of home-grown hackers as on the help of #NATO, hoping that #US will put pressure on #Lithuania to resume the transit of sanctioned goods (possibly in exchange for unblocking food from #Ukraine).
