Robotic tank proves itself in successful live-fire test
🇪🇪🇳🇴The leading European robotics and autonomous systems developer Estonian Milrem Robotics and Norwegian Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG), the leading technology and defence supplier successfully performed the first live firing of the PROTECTOR Remote Turret from the Type-X Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV).
▪️The first firing on the second week of June was carried out with KONGSBERG’s PROTECTOR RT40 which includes the Bushmaster 30 mm cannon and a linkless ammunition handling system.

Корабль получил название PNS Taimur.
Всего ВМС Пакистана заказали четыре фрегата проекта 054А.
Полное водоизмещение кораблей этой серии – 4053 тонны, длина корпуса – 134 м, ширина – 16 м. Скорость – до 29 узлов. Дальность плавания – 3800 миль; экипаж – 190 человек.
▪️Фрегаты вооружены вертикальной системой запуска с 32 ячейками для зенитных ракет класса HQ-16, двумя пусковыми установками по 4 противокорабельные ракеты YJ-83, 100-мм артустановкой, четырьмя зенитно-артиллерийскими комплексами CIWS (китайский аналог АК-630) и двумя трехтрубными торпедными аппаратами калибра 324 мм.

🇯🇵On Thursday, June 23, the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) shipyard in Nagasaki hosted the launching ceremony for the new generation Yahagi frigate of project 30FFM — the fifth ship in the series being built for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
The frigate is named after the WW II cruiser of the same name.
30FFM frigates expected to replace Asahi-class destroyers (8 such ships planned)
▪️The displacement of the ship ~ 3900 tons, length - 130 m, width – 16 m, combined gas turbine/diesel power plant (CODAG – one Rolls-Royce MT30 gas turbine and two MAN diesel engines).
