🔴 During 30 years Kremlin bought European officials right in the center of Munich.

🕵️‍♂️As the Dossier Center and Süddeutsche Zeitung found out, one of the most wanted scammers in the world, Jan Marsalek, a key character in Wirecard scandal, was associated with PMCs in the Middle East and Africa, as well as with the special services of several countries at once.

📌Marsalek met high-ranking officers from SVR and GRU back in the late 90s through the Austrian-Russian Friendship Society, incl. with GRU Colonel Andrey Chuprygin, who became his contact.
As the first "contribution", Marsalek handed over to GRU secret documents received from Austrian Ministry of the Interior and the main Austrian intelligence agency — Federal Office for the Protection of Constitution and Fight against Terrorism (BVT).

In 2018, according to the Financial Times, he tried to impress traders by showing them secret documents containing, among other things, formula of Novichok that was used to poison Skripal and Navalny.

📌According to Bellingcat, The Insider and Der Spiegel, after being appointed Chief Operating Officer of Wirecard in 2010, Marsalek began flying regularly to Russia for reports while helping Russian intel agencies transport large sums of cash, including for money laundering and funding Western politicians.

📌At the luxurious four-story villa Marsalek, which he rented for 680 thousand euros a year, directly opposite the Russian Consulate General in the very center of Munich, meetings were held several times a week with high-ranking intelligence officers from different countries, as well as with Western politicians and officials bought by Kremlin.

Российские спецслужбы предложили немцам встречу с Марсалеком, скрывавшемся к тому времени на Подмосковной базе ГРУ. Нетрудно догадаться, что речь шла об обмене определенного компромата.

В штабе БНД не согласились на предложенную ФСБ встречу, но информация о предложении была направлена в офис канцлера Ангелы Меркель, в Управление VII, которое занимается координацией спецслужб.
В то время Меркель готовилась дать показания перед следственной комиссией по скандалу с Wirecard в Бундестаге, однако о предложении встретиться с разыскиваемым мошенником и российским шпионом скромно умолчала: в следственные органы Баварии, расследующие дело Wirecard, эта информация не передавалась.

When Marsalek fled Germany to Russia in June 2020, Merkel was well aware of this: the BND received an "offer" from FSB. The Russian special services offered the Germans a meeting with Marsalek, who by that time was hiding at the GRU base near Moscow. The BND headquarters didn't agree to the meeting proposed by FSB, but info about the proposal was sent to the office of Chancellor Angela Merkel, to Department VII, which coordinates the special services.
At that time, Merkel was preparing to testify before the commission of inquiry into the Wirecard scandal in the Bundestag, but modestly kept silent about the proposal to meet with the wanted swindler and Russian spy: this info was never transferred to Bavarian investigating authorities investigating case the Wirecard.

Через месяц после исчезновения Марсалека Вучак вывел 2 миллиона евро из фонда на свой личный счет.
Как выяснилось, источником этих средств являются STL Dijital Yatırımlar Limited и ее дочерняя структура 4129 Danışmanlık. Обе компании находятся в Турции и подконтрольны все тому же экс-главе службы внешней разведки Ливии Рами аль-Обейди.

❗️Советником Марсалека по ливийскому направлению являлся куратор Марсалека по ГРУ Андрей Чупрыгин.

*Ахаван начинал свою карьеру в качестве инженера по телеметрии в Лаборатории реактивного движения #НАСА в Пасадене, Калифорния.

According to Handelsblatt, Vucak and Marsalek have been friends for the past 20 years: for many years, Vucak invested heavily in his friend's criminal gambles. Marsalek, in turn, acted as an investor in Vucak's IMS Capital fund.

A month after the disappearance of Marsalek, Vucak withdrew 2 million euros from the fund to his personal account.
As turned out, the source of these funds is STL Dijital Yatırımlar Limited and its subsidiary 4129 Danışmanlık. Both companies are located in Turkey and are controlled by ex-head of Libya's foreign intelligence service, Rami al-Obeidi
