⚡️⚡️Alexei Ogarev, former deputy head of the presidential administration and head of Rosvooruzhenie, was found dead on Rublyovka.
"The body of Alexei Ogarev was found yesterday in his house in the Balaton cottage village near Moscow on Thursday afternoon," the source said.
Ogarev was a protege of the family of the first Russia President Boris Yeltsin, a friend of his daughter Tatyana Dyachenko and represented the interests of "family".
Until 1997, Ogarev worked in Vienna as the permanent representative of RF to the OSCE, after which he became deputy head of the presidential administration.
In early 1999, he was appointed Deputy Secretary of RF Security Council, where he oversaw issues of military-technical cooperation between RF and foreign countries.
▪️By the end of the 1990s, two state intermediaries for the export and import of military and dual-use products operated in Russia: the State Company Rosvooruzhenie and Promexport.
Since August 1999, Rosvooruzhenie has been headed by Ogarev, Promexport since September of the same year has been headed by Putin's friend Sergei Chemezov (now CEO of Rostec).
