The Bulgarian government intends to revise contracts with Gazprom, including for the transit of gas that is pumped through the Turkish Stream pipeline to Serbia and Hungary, Prime Minister Kirill Petkov said on Wednesday.

“We must show that unilateral blackmail is not a relationship that Bulgaria will tolerate,” Petkov was quoted as saying by Economic.

▪️Bulgargaz sent Gazprom a payment in dollars in accordance with the terms of the contract, a source familiar with the situation told Bloomberg. Gazprom returned the money and cut off deliveries to Bulgaria, following Poland.

ONGC has a 20 percent stake in the Sakhalin 1 project that produces a Russian grade known as Sokol, which ONGC exports through tenders.
Normally, cargoes of Sokol oil are first shipped from the De-Kastri terminal in Russia’s Far East using ice-class vessels to South Korea, where they are then reloaded onto a conventional tanker.
▪️Now, however, Moscow’s ability to ship that grade, which requires vessels that can break through ice, is becoming harder due to concerns from shippers over reputational risk and the increasing difficulty for Russian assets to find insurance coverage.

❗️Зампредседателя комитета Госдумы по делам СНГ Виктор Водолацкий заявил, что Россия собирается признать независимость Приднестровья уже "в ближайшее время": якобы "президент Молдовы Майя Санду и «ее румынские кураторы» хотят реализовать в Приднестровье украинский сценарий и развязать войну".

Последний пассаж особенно удивителен, учитывая, что у Молдовы вообще нет своей армии.

Ранее исполняющий обязанности командующего войсками ЦВО Рустам Миннекаев объявил, что в рамках «второй фазы спецоперации» российская армия должна установить полный контроль над Южной Украиной, чтобы обеспечить выход к Приднестровью, где, по его словам, "отмечаются факты притеснения русскоязычного населения".

[...] А теперь Приднестровье, как мы видим, может получить возможность открыть четвертый фронт", - говорит Айзек Эванс, эксперт в области замороженных конфликтов международной организации OWP.
