The Times: Of these, at least 4 Kilo-class submarines armed with Kalibr cruise missiles, equivalent to American Tomahawks, with a range of about 1,550 miles, and two carrier ships.
The missile launches, from as far down as 50 metres beneath the surface, are difficult to spot even with overhead satellites.
▪️The Russian Defense Ministry has stated that the aim is to occupy the whole of the south of Ukraine as well as the Donbas in the east: “Control over the south of Ukraine is another way out to Transnistria, where there are also facts of oppression of the Russian-speaking population.” 🤯
