The French authorities arrested the property of Russian oligarchs

In France, the dispossession of Putin's oligarchs is in full swing. As part of the sanctions, the following properties have been frozen:

▪️The villa of Putin's close friend Arkady Rotenberg on Cape Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, which is estimated at $35 million.

▪️On the same cape, the villa of Alexander Ponomarenko, the formal owner of Putin's palace in Gelendzhik, was arrested.

▪️The villa of the owner of SUEK and EuroChem Andrey Melnichenko was arrested on the Cote d'Azur.

▪️The house of the former chairman of the board and co-owner of Sibur, Dmitry Konov, was arrested in Cannes.

▪️Two hotels belonging to Elena Ermakova, the wife of billionaire Gennady Timchenko, were also arrested.

❗️Telegram creator Pavel Durov asked Forbes not to call him a Russian billionaire
“Pavel left Russia many years ago and has no intention of returning,” his spokesman said.

❗️Создатель Телеграм Павел Дуров попросил Forbes не называть его русским миллиардером
«Павел уехал из России много лет назад и не собирается возвращаться», – заявил его представитель.

Кроме Дурова, еще ряд бизнесменов, которые родились и выросли в России, попросили Forbes больше не называть их "российскими" миллиардерами. Среди них Юрий Мильнер и Евгений Швидлер.

Не называть их российскими бизнесменами также попросили братья Игорь и Дмитрий Бухманы, основатели разработчика мобильных игр Playrix. Они перенесли свой бизнес в Ирландию и эмигрировали в Израиль в 2016 году. Сейчас оба брата живут в Лондоне.

С аналогичной просьбой обратился к Forbes сооснователь технологической компании Revolut Николай Сторонский (Ник Сторонски), который сейчас является гражданином Великобритании.

🔴 Бизнес всё больше дистанцируется от России, и для Путина это плохой знак.
