🇷🇺Electronic warfare battalions are being created in the Western Military District
The battalions are equipped with complexes capable of suppressing enemy GPS systems, communications and navigation.

The first such military unit are formed in the Belgorod region and became part of the 3rd Guards Motorized Rifle Division.

In the future, similar military units will become part of other formations of the district - including the 144th and 2nd guards motorized rifle divisions, as well as the 4th guards tank.

🇷🇺The new electronic warfare battalions will receive the R-330 Zhitel, Leer-3 and Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare systems. They can jam satellite and cellular communications, as well as the operation of navigation systems, including GPS.

The Leer-3 complex includes three Orlan-10 drones, which are used to jam cellular GSM communications. The range of such a complex is about 120 km.

🇷🇴🇺🇸The Romanian army received the first 18 of these MLRS at the beginning of 2021. According to media reports, they went to the 81st Tactical Operational Missile Battalion in Focsani. In total, Bucharest requested from the United States 54 HIMARS installations, 162 MLRS missiles (high-precision GPS-guided missiles), 54 ATACMS missiles, 24 fire control systems and other equipment.

DBK "Bal" is designed to defend the places of permanent deployment of ships that ensure security in the waters of Caspian Sea, as well as land units of the Caspian Flotilla.
Bal complex can fire rockets in volleys or single launches.
For most of the flight, the missile flies close to surface of the sea, making it difficult to intercept and destroy by missile defense systems.
