⚡️⚡️The European Central Bank asked banks for data on readiness to disconnect Russia from SWIFT
“Inquiries [to banks] show that the ECB wants to make sure that European banks can comply with any sanctions regime and are able to quickly terminate relationships with customers with whom they are prohibited from doing business,” writes the Financial Times, citing sources.
The ECB also demanded information about connections in Ukraine and Russia from Deutsche Bank and ING.
