❗️The Department of Economic and Financial Studies of the CMS Institute advised the Russians to "create a reserve of ruble cash equal to the family's expenses for at least six months."
Economists justified this by "the situation with protests in 🇰🇿#Kazakhstan", when "for several days people were left without money due to closed banks and disconnected ATMs."
However... it's impossible to imagine that the protests in Russia can last half a year. From this, many have concluded that the Kremlin expects to end the war precisely in these times.

NYT: Biden is considering deploying several thousand U.S. troops, as well as aircraft and warships, to NATO allies in the Baltics and Eastern Europe.
❗️The options include sending 1,000 to 5,000 troops to Eastern European countries, with the potential to increase that number tenfold if things deteriorate
The deployment of thousands of additional American troops to NATO’s eastern flank, which includes 🇪🇪#Estonia, 🇱🇻#Latvia and 🇱🇹#Lithuania, Biden administration officials said, is exactly the scenario that Mr. Putin has wanted to avoid.

State Dept is advising US citizens in Ukraine to depart now and says USG will have limited/no ability to assist them in departing should Russia invade.
Officials declined to provide any estimate of the number of Americans in Ukraine

Госдеп настоятельно рекомендует гражданам 🇺🇸#США, находящимся в Украине, покинуть страну немедленно,т.к. у правительства США не будет возможности помочь им в отъезде в случае вторжения России.
Госдеп отказался предоставить какую-либо оценку количества американцев в Украине.
