⚡️Two Marines were killed and 17 others injured on Wednesday after a 7-ton military vehicle rolled over in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Two of them are in critical condition.
The Marines involved were active duty service members of the 2nd Marine Logistics Group based at nearby Camp Lejeune.
The driver of the military vehicle was speeding at the time, police said.
The accident occurred while the military vehicle was attempting to turn onto U.S. 17 from N.C. 210, North Carolina Highway.
The 19-year-old Marine who was driving the military vehicle, Louis Barrera, has been charged with exceeding a safe speed and two counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, according to the highway patrol.

The Monolit-BR complex is designed for long-range over-the-horizon detection, tracking and classification of surface and low-flying air targets for the use of land-based and sea-based missile systems.
