🇮🇳 More than 100 victims of the plane crash in Calicut (Kozhikode) sent to the Kozhikode Medical Hosp. and other hospitals
▪️According to local media, the death toll has increased to 16
▪️Among the seriously injured - two crew members, including the co-pilot
▪️The crew commander had 30 years of experience and was formerly an Indian Air Force pilot.

🇮🇳 The runway at Karipur Airport, from which Air India Express's Boeing left on landing, is in a unique and dangerous place and located on the top of a mountain. Deep gorges on either side often make landing difficult.
According to DGCA, after the first unsuccessful attempt to land, the plane went into a go-around. During the second landing attempt, the aircraft's tyres got locked
🦠The flight was part of the Vande Bharat programme that has been bringing back Indians from abroad amid coronavirus pandemic.

🇦🇷 A McDonnell Douglas A-4AR (Fightinghawk, r/n C-925) of the Argentine Air Force crashed on Wednesday morning, August 5, in the southern province of Cordoba after taking off from Villa Reynolds airfield in San Luis
"The pilot was found dead near the ejection site by Search and Rescue personnel from the 5th Air Brigade," the Armed Forces of Argentine reported in an official statement.

According to the medical report, "the soldier died as a result of a dislocation of the spinal cord of the cervical spine, caused by acceleration and the force of gravity when ejecting from the aircraft A-4AR Fightinghawk."
The reasons for the crash of the fighter were not disclosed

🇵🇹🇪🇸 The seaplane of the Portuguese fire service Canadair CL-215-1A10 crashed today in the Lobios forest near the border with Portugal (Lindoso area), heading to extinguish a fire in Galicia, where Portuguese and Spanish troops are jointly putting out a fire that began yesterday morning and affected the territory of both countries
One pilot died, other in serious condition
The plane belonged to civilian company Babcock, worked for Spanish government.
