@MarkUrban01: A plan reliant on NATO air power to ensure Russia adheres to a deal is going to need considerable logistical support from the US, at a bare minimum. European air forces are capable on paper but still suffer from poor magazine depth, and are particularly weak with regard to SEAD/DEAD.
Every F-35 operator that has not yet ordered AARGM-ER needs to do so immediately.

@dave987a: Yes, had its advantages over HARM. Meanwhile the US has moved onto AARGM, AARGM-ER, and is developing SiAW. Everything that is wrong with European procurement in a nutshell. The continent needs to learn how to walk again before it can run. Trying to compete with the US in certain categories is a fool's errand.
