RT @USN_Submariner: OTD in 1950 during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, ENS Jesse L. Brown’s was killed when his F4U-4 Corsair was downed by antiaircraft fire behind enemy lines. CAPT Thomas J. Hudner, Jr intentionally crashed his plane near Brown's in an unsuccessful attempt to save his life.
