RT @saintjavelin: The mysterious disappearance of Russian tanks, but how can this be? There are no losses they said.

This is the 22nd Central Tank Reserve Base, located at geographic coordinates 58.46468165, 41.50848361. It stands as one of the largest in terms of the number of T-80UD and other tanks.

Research conducted by OSINT specialists revealed that as of June 2021, there were approximately 700 "good" tanks at this facility, meaning tanks ready for active deployment.

I would say that the current naval situation in the Black Sea is the result of a long-running, largely independent naval effort, which kicked off in ernest with the sinking of the Moskva in April '22 and has since evolved as Ukrainian maritime capabilities have increased.

Saying this isn't "downgrading" Ukrainian achievements at sea. They have been very successful, esp considering their limited means

However, naval operations has had limited effect on how the ground offensive has developed and started long before this offensive was conceived

From an analytical perspective, I'm skeptical of labeling everything as "joint" or "multi domain operations".

As I see it, other services and domains sometimes plays a supporting role to the ground campaigns, other times they run what can be seen as their own wars.
