- Unbridled populism

- Support to education and farms are meritorious subsidies and have larger externalities. Free electricity, on the contrary, is environmentally unfriendly and distorts cropping pattern

Read the above comment in relation to what I shared yesterday about Dipa Sinha’s article. Not all subsidies are bad, it’s unbridled populism that’s worrisome.
