Tausif Ali | Story of Shamiβs father
A dominant, passionate fast bowler in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh
Hailing from a farmer family, life was tough
Things happened and boom! He has to go back home
Leaving cricket forever, he βsettlesβ
The dream dies and Tausif is now farming to raise his family
A few years and 4 sons later, he started training all of them himself
While he did that for almost a decade, one of them was exceptional
Tausif did not want to risk it with this βgod-giftedβ child!
He packed bags to take him to Badruddin in Moradabad, a local famous coach
Badruddin made the chap bowl and damn! DID HE BALL WELL?
This child was indeed different!
His ups and down life put him to test many a times
But he came back, ALWAYS!
He is Shami. Muhammad Shami. β€οΈ
This Indian bowler who makes ball dance to his tunes like magic is sweats heavy in practice
Point being?
If you are stuck or feeling stagnant, know that you are not alone
It happens!
But what matters is how you bounce back.
