Youโ€™d hear a lot of โ€˜keywordsโ€™ these days vis-รก-vis ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ on global stage

- โ‚น Internationalisation
- ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ bonhomie
- โ€˜not an era of warโ€™
- de-dollarisation

(..and many more)

While itโ€™s essential to learn what are these, itโ€™s even more important to realise โ€˜Whyโ€™

Simple answer:
World is in a chaos. We are living events that history books describe as once in a millennium setups.

As a #UPSC aspirant, go to basics of โ€˜Whyโ€™ & youโ€™ll see the quality of your thoughts improving. This will further reflect on your answers, speech, and behaviour.

And that, my friend, is the goal!
โ€œTo be a better thinkerโ€

Mains answers or interview speech is a byproduct of
- how well do you think
- how well can you articulate what you think
- how well can you write what you articulate

The 28% tax on face value in gaming industry is making news.

What does this mean?

Understand it with an example

- Presently, 18% tax paid by gaming companies on 'platform fee'

- Say, 10% is platform fee. Of โ‚น100 taken from user, companies make โ‚น10 and pays 18% GST on this โ‚น10 (i.e. โ‚น1.8)

- With 28% GST on 'face value', the tax would be on entire โ‚น100.

- This means, tax that is โ‚น1.8 presently would be โ‚น28๐Ÿคฏ
