- Have you read any contemporary poets? (I mentioned Rupi Kaur, but I don’t follow her writings)
- Have you heard about Golden Gate? Vikram Seth-does he write free verse? (Said I’ll have to check ma’am, not sure)

1. How did you defend South Africa, on human rights?
2. You’re from UP, there are some problems on ground-what are they?
- Said we are progressing as GSDP in top 5, but problems still there, talked about demography, regional inequalities.
- She said you are correct, but despite such projects, not much seen on ground. What other problems there. (I said law and order, implementation issues-which we are working on, named few policies)
- Do you think UP should be bifurcated? (Said I don’t think it will address ground issues, need inclusive development and connectivity)

M2 (Male): I think he was from economics background (I had economics as a subject in 12th)
1. Continued from previous- what will connectivity projects do?
2. Will these projects increase labour mobility to western up? What about the wages then? (I said if we have industrial development in eastern up then labour migration will reduce, and even if it does happen, it will be skilled labour-which may impact wages)
3. Trump’s claims of South Africa human rights violations. What is your view?
4. Have you heard about Ricardo’s theory (I said sorry)
5. Tell me what comparative advantage means.
6. Are we witnessing a shift in trade from comparative advantage to any other theory?
- I said I’m not sure about the exact theory but we are witnessing a shift where trade is being influenced by politics.
7. Some statement by Economic Adviser that we need to increase FDI from China. What is your view?
- Said we currently allow through govt route, which is fair since we need to have due diligence when it comes to Chinese investments.

- I gave a detailed reply on when we lose our records, gave example of Nalanda
- He asked what about oral traditions? I said when we lose a generation or they lose touch with these traditions, that link is broken.
Then, he said thankyou.

Then, Chairwoman said thankyou. I thanked everyone and left.

It was more of a fluid conversation, everyone was smiling.

You are part of administration. In a tribal area health and educational infrastructure is to be developed but cost is high, terrain is difficult so the administration wants to displace, However the trivams are opposing and reluctant, What would you do, would you forceably displace them?

2) Gave a big monologue about Freight Equalization Policy 1952. ( I said I am not aware of this Policy). He letter on explain me in this policy and ask me was it right or wrong (I said sir that in aspir my estimation at that time it was good because India needed and equitable resource all location).

3) some states are paying more taxes but the money is being transferred to legging states are we not penalising them. ( Penalising rather it is responsibility to make sure that we can tap the potential of each and every State)

4) Indian population is a challenge don't you think ? (Reply sir that today we are young Nation and we can read the benefit but if you are not able to read the demographic dividend then can be a challenge)

5)What is CAA ( i explained)

6) why people were against CAA ( i mentioned that biggest minority was against it)

7) Minorities had nothing to do with ( i said NPR NRC)

8) What is the current status ( I said NPR NRC are in abeyance and citizenship rights beig give under CAA)

1) Why India is focusing on the big Industries rather than we should focus on the msme's don't you think that by focusing on big Industries we are trying to promote the inquality of income. (I said it is duty to promote equality but both are important, as for future we need to create Chip Industry, Semiconductor but should also promote MSMEs as they provide Jobs)

2) She insisted on that we should promote Big Industries.

कुछ मेरे से बोलते हैं कि जब बात करते समय दूसरे मेंबर पर भी फोकस करो, मेंबर मेरे इतने पास बैठे थे कि मैं उनसे नज़रें हटाकर किसी दूसरे को देख भी नहीं सकता। पूरे डिस्कशन में मैंने मुश्किल से दो से तीन बार किसी दूसरे मेंबर की ओर देखा होगा बस बाकी एकदम जिस मेंबर से बात कर रहा था उसी पर पूरा फोकस था।

मैं यह नहीं कहूंगा कि मैं बहुत एकदम स्ट्रेस फ्री होकर बात की होगी लेकिन हां फिर भी मैं कहूंगा कि i was comfortable with a happy face (even though not so happy)


मैंने कोशिश की कि मैं कहीं भी तुक्का ना मारूं या फालतू का कोई Guess ना मारूं। (फिर भी हो सकता है कि 1-2 जगह हो गया हो)

PPPS: Somehow member 1 was curious about questions on disability. He himself asked first, then while last member 4 was asking, he asked again!!

One to one: Bright Sir- daily one to one and Vikas Sir (Umbrella IAS academy): the best academy out there from prelims to interview, Shubham Aggarwal Sir (Vidyapeeth IAS)- confidence booster and overall helped a lot in managing stress, Mahesh Bhagwat Sir, IPS- very good discussion on questions from daf, Jithin George Sir (Lead IAS Academy)- one session on communication.

Mocks: Samkalp (online and offline)- offline one was closest to real one in terms of environment, Vajirao and Reddy- good, cordial board, Vajiram- would advise against it.

Q2 - Then he asked why the recent pace of civil servants coming from University has reduced ?
Q3 - Ok tell me the significance of Raebareli (basically wanted to know political significance) then briefed about some more districts having political significance like Ballia .
Q4 - Next question was on labour reforms , why it has been bought , what impact it will have and what more suggestions can I give ( good question)
Q5 - Next question was on msme -aksed turnover and investment limit , its significance and my suggestions on it .

Twist plot - it was already above 30 mins ,chairman interrupted that time is up , but lady member said sir just two more questions, and then interview went for 38to 40 mins . (May be I was the 1st one to go that's why )

Final experience- the board was very cordial (especially female members , they were encouraging me to speak ) , male members were strict and had no expression , however they were satisfied by my answers , the board was overall cordial . However u never know what comes out as result , so fingers crossed 🤞.
