I said to paint the building with heat absorbent, which reduces heat load, then I said the Internet of things, connecting devices-> auto cut, I felt he was looking for more practical solution while my ans was idealistic

Q.6 Can’t you see AC, I said yes it’s 2-star, we should switch to 5-star
Then he said CFL bulb, I said yes sir energy efficient appliances should be used
This was the section of the interview where I felt embarrassed, he even said you are an engineer that's why we are asking you these things
Q.7 What is carbon trading when was it introduced by whom? I told everything 1 tonn certificate, UNFCCC, Kyoto protocol, Regulation under Baku declaration
Q.8 view on liquor ban policy in Bihar, they are foregoing 20,000 cr annually
I said it has also led to a reduction in crime, domestic violence, road accident
However, we have tourism opportunities so middle path-> Hotel mein bech sakte hai, easy grant of permission to tourists like Gujarat govt
He further asked I said our state is a welfare state, I see it as a pure means to achieve the right ends
Q.9 Let us suppose you are the Finance secretary of Bihar-> then you will ans the same thing, here chairman started laughing saying there can be no ans to this question.

World population is declining. How can India utilize ? More follow up questions on demographic dividend, why not able to harness and what can we do ( He interrupted me on every line....and finally explained himself what he wanted to hear as if he was giving interview to other members and I just noded ...Yes Sir )

Overall the experience was very good. Since this is my 4th UPSC interview (2 in CSE, 2 in IES) i was not nervous. Moreover chairman sir was very cordial and encouraging.
