Experience - all members had poker face, no smile in between, and it's scary for me as dasa sir laughed on my answer
Rather than calling it cordial, I would call it poker face board for me, but I would say they didn't grill me
Utility of mock - 20+ mocks, but only one question was repeated and that was - "how are you", and it's good for practice only , real interview is a totally different game. Give mocks only for practice
Suggestion - more than mocks it's your own hardwork on DAF and CA and discussion with peers which will help you in developing perspective
Special thanks - Mrinal Kanti Das sir (retd IPS) , two very good friends ( HK & NS, forever indebted to you both for daily discussions and taking one to one mock)

Board: Suman Sharma Ma'am
DAF: Tata Motors, Cars, Climate Changa and Sustainability, Pune, TISS
Chairman: 1) What is the status of EVs in India and what are the challenges.
2) Do you support the government cutting down import duties of EVs?
3) Why is Lakshadweep not as developed as Maldives?
4) Why now the government wants to make it like Maldives?
5) Government wants to bring vehicles sold in 2004-2005 under EPR. How would they do it? (I just said we in our company are facing the same challenge)
Member 1: 1) Which type of vehicle do you think mainly represents the economy? (I said commercial vehicles and sighted reason of trade and commerce along with others) (Got grilled on it a little as she had 2 wheelers in her mind, she also said don't agree with me and stick to your point) (I then said I agree that 2 wheelers do represent the economy due to gig economy part but still CVs do it more)
2) Don't you think EVs would put extra pressure on grids as we already have power shortage and Renewal energy won't be enough. (Mostly a discussion with little grilling)
Member 2: 1) Current GHG intensity. (Didn't know the exact number)
2) Climate Change is a big topic even though it is a cyclic process and we are in inter-glacial periods. (Answered well in relation to Anthropocene)
Member 3: 1) You talked about Sustainable Development at Lakshadweep, give some ideas. (Talked about Japan model over Maldives model)
2) Do you support aggresive development of tribals in India. (I compared Santhals to Birhors talking about policy curation)
3) Mention a positive externality about climate change. (I mentioned exposure of new fuel sources with glacial melt)
4) What is your opinion on Lokpal not being able to make judgements on judges and what can be done ( I said it's a technical thing between constitutional post and statutory body, but we can amend the Act to clarify the stance)
5) Name something for which PLI is applicable and give and alternative to PLI. (I said more investment of private sector in R&D, he said that would still need concessions which I don't support) (I said we can give loans and distribution of responsibility as I didn't have any better idea coming at that point)
Memeber 4: 1) TISS is now a government institute. Mention 1 bad and 1 good change. (I said rise of multiple ideologies instead of just 1 is good and dilution of student union is bad)
2) She asked what ideology dominated earlier. ( Didn't want to use any controversial word and ended up saying hyper-liberal one)
3) Laughed and asked what is hyper-liberal (I said some areas of Indian society needs phase wise change instead of drastic one so the latter is hyper in my opinion)
