Q. Only geography is the reason for tourism?
A. Culture, heritage, architecture, food etc
Q. Kerala also has these things. It is now giving stiff competition to Rajasthan in tourism. Why would one go to Rajasthan then?
A. Rajasthan is famous for its hospitality
Q. Yes, I wanted to hear that.
(Didn't let me answer the ways to improve tourism)
Chairperson told me that my interview is over and that I can go
I said thank you and left
Chairperson was very strict all through the interview. Never smiled, made faces showcasing dissatisfaction when she was asking while never looking all through the interview. She was noting something at all times and was attentively listening.
Other members were fine and mostly cordial, unlike chairperson. I enjoyed the conversation but it was not totally a conversation, rather Q&A of sorts where they wanted to hear particular things from me. Very very different from any mock I've given.
Minimal question from DAF and the interview was not even current affairs dominated which was a surprise. It was new

Chair person ma'am was writing continuously in diary.
Other members were writing something in DAF or diary by pencil.
Tricky questions against government. Tried to know balance of judgement.
Mocks/O20 (If any):
13 mocks given online.
PW only IAS gave the opportunity to have maximum mocks with them.
Vision ias -, and Samkalp best.
Unacademy - taught me to speak with humility.
Jice Academy - too much aggressive marketing.
Upwise arranged two online mocks.
IAS DELHI INSTITUTE: Best online free mock.
Others online: Apti plus, Vajirao and reddy, GS score, PW only ias.
The worst institutes were like Sarthi Ias (Shivin wala)- After registration they didn't even take my call for support or gave any support. Totally waste.

Upsc prep- Gave online mock
Had only three people and no one had cleared upsc and no bureaucrats.
Mr.Ratnoo humiliated me very badly. He was the worst person I have ever talked in my 6 years upsc journey. He was very arrogant. Please don't waste your time with such kind of cheap person.
DAF analysis,: Shri mahesh bhagwat sir ips: Very nice person.
Offline - gave 3
Samkalp, Vision, Pw only ias.
Samkalp and Vision were the best in the PT preperation.
PS: Interview was totally different from mocks. Just one question was repeated in actual interview. So, be prepare for random questions.I was nervous before interview and panel may felt the low energy level.
As last attempt and having experience of this journey I have observed that the pt is subjective. The marks variation are from 100 to 215. So, I would Like to advise folks to Score maximum in Mains. Take the optional which give you maximum marks. I sticked to Medical Science but got low scores in three mains.
In the Whole process, please don't waste too much time. If you spend 3 attempts and don't clear prelims please start back up options. The ones who pass after 6+ attempts might have financial backup. But if anyone without any financial backup spend 6+ years and even after multiple interviews, don't get selected then it would be too frustrated. So please guys give this exam with visionary decision.

Experience of 6 years journey:
The examination of UPSC is random especially at the interview stage. Many exceptional talents get low marks and many mediocres get excellent marks. So the main game is the Mains. In interview, the whole market surrounds with DAF section 21 entry and many people fill fake entries to show good impression. I don't know the real truth. But I had low entries in it because in Gujarat especially in Science stream there is no scope for extra curricular activities.
PS: As I concludes my journey I would like to give you an honest advise::Please folks give every attempt with utmost sincerity. Because the time occurs when you gave your best but you didn't get the results. And it would be too difficult to handle because the marketing calls for mock interviews suddenly stops and the whole attention is diverted to the rankers. No one talks about the ones who reach upto the stage of interview multiple times and not recommended.
