በኬንያ በተፈጸመ የሳይበር ጥቃት የፕሬዚዳንቱን ፅህፈት ቤት ጨምሮ የበርካታ ሚኒስቴሮች ድረ-ገጽ ተጠልፎ የነበረ ሲሆን ከሰዓታት በኋላ ዳግም ተመልሷል።

በዚህ የተቀናጀ የሳይበር ጥቃት የፕሬዚዳንቱን ጽህፈት ቤት ጨምሮ የጤና፣ የትምህርት፣ የስራ፣ የአካባቢ፣ የሃገር ውስጥ፣ የቱሪዝምና የቴክኖሎጂ ሚኒስቴሮች ድህረገጽ መጠለፉ ተነግሯል።

ድረ-ገጾቹ መጠለፋቸውን ተከትሎ በድሀረገፆቹ ላይ "Access denied by PCP", "We will rise again", "White power worldwide", and "14:88 Heil Hitler" የሚል ፅሁፍ ታይቷል።

ድህረገፆቹ ከተጠለፉ በኋላም መንግስት በኦንላይን የሚሰጣቸው አገልግሎቶች አቋርጦ ቆይቷል።

የመከላከያ እና የገንዘብ ሚኒስቴር በጥቃቱ ሰለባ አልሆኑም ሲባል ለጥቃቱ ኃላፊነቱን የወሰደ ቡድን እስካሁን የለም።

በ2023 በኬንያ መንግስታዊ ተቋማት ላይ ተመሳሳይ ጥቃት ደርሶ የነበረ ሲሆን የሱዳን የመረጃ መዝባሪዎች ቡድን ኃላፊነቱን ወስዶ ነበር።
