Alts. What to watch on the market right now?

The market is trying to stabilize at current levels. Growth is currently hindered by the hype surrounding the sale of bitcoins by the German government. At Alpha, we are not rushing to work with speculative positions and are considering more long-term deals.

4. #STRK — L2 on Ethereum, competitor to Taiko, but with a larger cap, plus it has an important addition — the asset is under heavy FUD, which increases the chance for future performance.

5. #EDU — CZ will soon be released from prison. Before he was imprisoned, he announced his new product in the "education" sector in partnership with EDU. This asset may front-run his release.

Optimism – the King of the L2 Market?

Optimism was the first L2 network launched on top of Ethereum in 2021.

Since then, over 50 new L2 networks have emerged, including well-known ones like Arbitrum, Base, Blast, Linea, Scroll, Mantle, and Starknet.

Despite the large number of competitors, the Optimism ecosystem remains the leader in terms of the number of transactions processed.

Here are some statistics illustrating Optimism’s dominance:

- 56.6% of all transactions in L2 networks go through either Optimism or networks built on its basis, such as Base, Mode, and Zora.
- If we include other networks built on Optimism but not sharing revenues (Blast, Mantle, Manta), this figure rises to 73%.

All networks built on Optimism will eventually be integrated into a single ecosystem with shared liquidity, bridges, and other applications, functioning as a unified whole rather than as separate networks.

#BTC the market is giving us a relief bounce as expected but it’s too early to talk about the move to new highs. The main resistance now is 62,500$ and the next weekly pivot date is 4th of August. If we don’t break it with confirmation before 4th of august the probability of a drop below 50K will increase. However, if we do flip 62K$ into support before August 4th, chances are high that we are going to new highs.

The main resistance around 3550$, once we flip it we can move to 4700-5000.

USDT Trading Volume on TON Reaches New Record

According to Tether, $580 million worth of USDT stablecoins have been issued on the TON blockchain.

The issuer began deploying stablecoins on the TON network in April, and soon the turnover reached a record $300 million.

Since May, the trading volume has been steadily increasing, regularly setting new highs, notes Token Terminal.

Analysts at Messari predict an increase in the number of blockchain users by 500 million by 2028.

Telegram actively promotes the development of TON, and gaming ecosystems boost the demand for both USDT and the native digital asset Toncoin.

The majority of USDT stablecoins are used in DeFi protocols on TON, with centralized exchanges ranking second in trading volume (according to Artemis).
