What is funding in crypto trading? πŸ’Έ

In cryptocurrencies, funding refers to the funding rate that is redistributed among traders holding positions in perpetual futures.

Funding is a periodic payment/write-off for traders with open positions in perpetual futures, which allows them to compensate for the long-term difference between the price of the underlying asset and the derivative contract.

The need for funding arose from the idea of perpetual futures, which have no maturity and can be held indefinitely. Therefore, to compensate for the difference in the price of the asset and the contract, a financing rate mechanism was launched.

You’re in your late 20s:

* 26, born in 1999
* 27, born in 1998
* 28, born in 1997
* 29, born in 1996

The weight of responsibility is crushing.

Your paycheck feels more like a prison than a prize.

It's time to build your escape route.

Do these 6 things in the next 6 months to start πŸ›

1/6 Build ONE Keystone Habit.

This isn't about hustle culture.

It's about survival.

For me, it was building after my four sons were asleep.

One hour.

No matter how tired I was from the warehouse.

That hour was my one hour of building freedom.

Find yours.

β†’ Pick it.
β†’ Protect it.
β†’ Repeat it until it's automatic.

Then...

2/6 Get The Noise Out Of Your Head.

Your brain is screaming after a full day of taking orders.

Constant worry about bills, the kids, the future.

Writing is the only thing that quiets it down.

Write about:
* The anger at your boss.
* The fear you'll be stuck forever.
* The secret hope you can pull this off.

This is how you get back in the driver's seat.

But you need a map...

3/6 Create Your Escape Map.

You can't escape a prison without knowing where the walls are.

Most guys drift for years because they just post and pray.

That is NOT a strategy.

Instead, track the proof you're moving:
* Every dollar earned on the side (even DoorDashing for diaper money).
* Every new follower who gets it.
* Every meaningful conversation.

This isn't vanity.

It's visible proof you're getting closer to the exit.

Next, you clear the path.

4/6 Stop The Time Heist.

Time is EVERYTHING.

The 9-5 steals 8 hours. The commute steals 2 more. Scrolling steals another 1.

Stop letting them take it.

This is a war for your minutes.

Delete the apps that don't build you.
Shut off the TV.
Protect the quiet moments after bedtime.

Those are the moments that build your freedom.

And you have to do it in front of people...

5/6 Build In Public.

Stop trying to be perfect. Nobody connects with a highlight reel.

They connect with the guy eating leftover nuggets in his minivan at 10 PM, trying to figure it all out.

That's real.

Share the messy start.
Share the small wins.
Share the exhaustion.

Your story is the one thing no one can copy.

6/6 The Sunday Check-In.

A week of drifting becomes a year of being stuck.

It's how the Paycheck Prison keeps you for life.

Every Sunday, you need a reality check:
β†’ What actually worked?
β†’ Where did I waste precious time?
β†’ What is the ONE thing I must do next week?

This is how you build a real escape route, not just dream about it.

Exploring the Benefits of Non-Recourse Loans in Crypto

In finance, minimizing risk is key. Non-recourse loans offer a unique way to leverage assets while limiting risk exposure strictly to the collateral.

Picture this: John wants to invest in Ethereum without selling his Bitcoin holdings. He takes a non-recourse loan, using Bitcoin as collateral. If the investment goes south, the lender can only seize the Bitcoinβ€”not John's other assets.

Non-recourse loans are especially useful in crypto and trading due to their:

- Collateralization: Use crypto as collateral to access funds without selling assets.
- Volatility Risk Management: Limit exposure to the collateral, even in volatile markets.
- Flexibility: Ideal for leveraging investments or meeting personal expenses.

Similar to margin trading in traditional finance, non-recourse loans allow you to boost buying power while controlling risk. However, these loans can carry challenges like margin calls or liquidation.

For those in crypto and trading, understanding non-recourse loans is essential for managing financial risk and seizing growth opportunities while safeguarding assets.

πŸ“ˆHow To Do Your Own Analysis?
β €
Friends, we have a lot of newbies who are just starting out in cryptocurrency. So I decided to make a post about how to do your own analysis of projects. In other words - DYOR (Do Your Own Research).

One post will not reveal in details all the aspects we need to take into account when analyzing. I plan to do a second post like this, but it will depend on what assets you show under this post. It's up to you.

Below we break down the main metrics for DYOR.

βœ…Project website

On the website, you will always be greeted with a brief squeeze of the project. Be sure to read the white paper to learn all the basic details:

β€’ What is the project?
β€’ What are its benefits?
β€’ What opportunities does the project offer?
β€’ The project roadmap.

When analyzing the roadmap, pay attention to whether the project is on track. If it is lagging behind, it indicates some difficulty in implementation.

βœ…Funds

Funds are analyzed to see who is acting as the guarantor of the project's success?

🟒It is important:

β€’ Which foundations have already supported the project?
β€’ What successful cases do these foundations have?
β€’ Will the funds be interested in further development of the project and its token?

Having good funds "on board" increases the likelihood that the launch will be successful and the project will have a better chance of getting support from new investors in the future.

A resource for fund analysts and where they invest is Chain Broker

(chainbroker.io)βœ…Community and Social Media

You need to gauge the excitement around the project and audience engagement.

🟒Important:
β€’ How active the project's social networks are: Telegram, Twitter, Discord, Medium, GitHub, and so on.
β€’ How involved is the team in maintaining social networks?
β€’ Ambassador Program. Is it active or does it only have a name?

When analyzing social networks, you need to assess not the number of subscribers, likes and reposts, but how active the audience is among themselves. You can write any question in the discord chat and see how quickly you get an answer.

🟒Also, importantly:
β€’ Who is doing the reposts? If they make them "real people" and not bots it is a definite plus.
β€’ Who among the major projects and celebrities is a Twitter follower.

(coinsguru.io) πŸ’DYOR is not the easiest topic for a newbie. Like this post if you want me to do the second part of the post?

πŸ”… The 6 WORST Cryptocurrency Investing Mistakes to Avoid

1. FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) Buying
Jumping into a coin just because it's trending or pumping without research is a classic mistake. Always DYOR (Do Your Own Research) before investing.

2. Ignoring Risk Management
Putting all your funds into one coin or not setting stop-loss limits can lead to huge losses. Diversify your portfolio and only invest what you can afford to lose.

3. Falling for Hype & Scams
Trusting anonymous influencers or joining pump-and-dump Telegram groups is dangerous. If it sounds too good to be trueβ€”it probably is.

4. Lack of Understanding
Investing in projects without knowing their use case, tokenomics, or team is like throwing darts blindfolded. Read whitepapers and check project fundamentals.

5. No Exit Strategy
Many investors ride the wave up but don’t know when to sell. Define your entry, target profit, and stop-loss before investing.

6. Panic Selling During Dips
Markets are volatile. Emotional decisions in red zones often lead to losses. Zoom out and focus on the long-term fundamentals.

You don't need to trade every coin.

Create a small watchlist containing assets you're actually willing to trade.

Track:

πŸ“Š Price

πŸ“ˆ Volume

πŸ“‰ Volatility

πŸ“° Major news

πŸ”„ Market trend

The goal isn't to find 100 opportunities.

It's to recognize a few good opportunities.

πŸ”Ÿ Protect Your Binance Account

This is more important than finding the next 100x coin.

Enable:

πŸ” Strong unique password

πŸ” 2FA

πŸ” Withdrawal protections/address controls where appropriate

πŸ” Device/security monitoring

Be extremely careful with phishing links, fake Binance accounts and unsolicited messages.

Your trading strategy doesn't matter if someone compromises your account.

1️⃣1️⃣ Keep a Trading Journal

After every important trade, record:

Entry

Exit

Position size

Reason for entering

Reason for exiting

Profit/Loss

What you learned

After 50–100 trades, you'll start seeing your real trading behaviour.

That's where improvement begins.

1️⃣2️⃣ Don't Trade Just Because You Have Binance

This is one of the biggest mistakes.

You don't need to trade every day.

Sometimes:

NO TRADE = GOOD TRADE.

If the setup isn't clear, keep your capital safe.

πŸ”₯ THE REAL WAY TO GET THE BEST OUT OF BINANCE

Don't try to use every Binance feature.

Instead:

Learn β†’ Plan β†’ Manage Risk β†’ Execute β†’ Review β†’ Improve

Use Spot to build your foundation.

Understand Earn before chasing yield.

Understand risk before using leverage.

Use automation only after understanding the strategy.

And protect your account like your money depends on itβ€”because it does.

πŸ’― Binance is a tool.

Your knowledge, discipline and risk management determine how effectively you use it.

⚠️ Crypto is highly volatile. This post is for educational purposes, not financial advice. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.

Are crypto transactions anonymous?

Crypto transactions on blockchains are β€œpseudonymous,” meaning they can be traced to wallet addresses (via public keys) but have no direct connection with people’s identities.

Every transaction is open to the public, and anyone with an internet connection can view them. The date, the amount sent and received, the wallet addresses β€” all of this data is impossible to conceal.

However, if you use a non-custodial wallet, it will be impossible to identify you as the wallet’s owner (unless you deanonymize yourself).

For example, if you send crypto from a centralized exchange to your non-custodial wallet, the exchange now knows who the non-custodial wallet belongs to since you must pass Know Your Customer requirements by showing your ID.

Therefore, if you practice the basics, you can be completely anonymous on the blockchain, and no one will ever know your personal information.
