Here's an example of following an uptrend on XPL.

First was seeing potential breakout of the ascending triangle (pic 1 & 2)

what you would do here is take a long position at the top of the triangle set for when it breaks out.

You would set the take profit at the previous high.

Based on pic 4, you would take the profit and wait for the retest of the same line, at which if it holds- your re enter and rinse repeat.
