The tipping thing actually works guys
Content: For example, someone tipped me on this sub few weeks ago and I must say that it opened my eyes to a whole new world of Bitcoin. For the longest time, I've been very skeptical of BTC bitcoin. Because it's too slow and the fee is too high. It didn't make sense to me why anyone would want to use such inefficient currency that costs you so much fees and takes so long to confirm transaction.

And yes, I've heard of the lightning network and I have used it with Muun wallet. It was interesting at first, but when I try to send my BTC to my Coinbase wallet, the fee was still outrageously high because Coinbase is not on lightning network. Also, it takes so long to confirm. It was back to square one.

Then, out of curiosity, I stumbled upon this sub and asked a bunch of questions about this new coin called BCH - Bitcoin Cash that I've never heard of. I thought, that's interesting. It has the same name as BTC Bitcoin. I thought it might be one of the scam coins and didn't pay much attention. I am sorry guys but when something has the same name as the most popular brand, most people would think that the less popular one is either a scam or a knockoff like a Chinese counterfeit product.

Then on this sub, someone tipped me. Oh, that is nice, I thought. So, I checked out the Bitcoin.com wallet and I started messing around with BCH. I bought some BCH myself and moved it around between my Coinbase wallet and the Bitcoin.com wallet. The move was instantaneous and the fee always stays the same, cheap and reliable. No nasty surprise like BTC fees. Why would I spend 1.50 dollars to move a 4 dollars worth of BTC? get the fuck outta here. nobody would use this shit if BTC was lesser known coin.

Anyway, then I did some more research on BCH and BTC lightning. What I learned from my research was that BCH is the superior coin in all aspects, hands down. If there was a mass adoption worldwide by retailers and average consumers, most people would choose BCH over BTC 8 out 10 times. The simplicity and convenience of BCH far outweighs the mysterious store of value of BTC that some people keep talking about. For average people, nobody cares about BTC's store of value. Maybe BTC maximalists are correct about BTC having a longevity as a well-known coin for years to come. However, nobody would use it as a daily currency. I don't believe that most people have the patience to learn about the lightning network either and why one shouldn't store all their BTC in a lightning wallet because lightning is not the actual Bitcoin blockchain but it's run by third party nodes.

On the other hand, BCH is very simple and it JUST WORKS like it's supposed to. you don't need any fancy mumbo jumbo with lightning or difference of fees or layer 1, 2, 3 or whatever that BTC has.

Also, when it comes to regulation and audits, the lightning nodes will have very difficult time getting past them because they are inherently not secure unlike a layer 1 blockchain like BCH.

If Bank of Japan, for example, wants to send some money over either BTC lightning or BCH, they will go for BCH because of its simplicity and predictable nature.

Oh anyway, I didn't mean to write a long essay about BCH, but my point is that my investment with BCH started with someone on this subreddit tipping me. And I want you guys to know that tipping actually works to bring in new investors onboard especially a crypto enthusiast like me.

Thanks for your work, guys.

“ MasterCard invested in Blockstream, Lightning Labs and all the other infrastructure partners of Lightning Network in order to run a controlled opposition campaign against the big blockers so that bitcoin could never scale. Lightning's purpose is for people to "just use fiat.".. “

Customer Service - Unable to Sell despite buying for 3+ years?????
Content: Not sure how to resolve issues with Coinbase as they only have a ticketing system. Anyway, I have automated buying ETH/BTC over the last few years and haven't had any issues. That is until I randomly decided to transfer some of that money back into my bank account and am met with the "Account restricted. You are currently unable to buy/sell crypto on Coinbase". This is despite buying it earlier today AND yesterday. It seems only my ability to Sell/Cash out is disabled. This is incredibly frustrating.
