Bitcoin as a global currency?
Content: I've been very curious about this matter for the longest time. Most of my friends are non-crypto so I don't have an avenue to throw this question.

There's been a very strong debate about using Bitcoin as a substitute for fiat. Now, I get that Bitcoin cuts the need for third-party intermediaries like banks, the tech behind blockchains and just cryptocurrencies (not just Bitcoin) is really impressive to me. Even El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as a legal currency.

With 21mil Bitcoin as the max quantity, I'm wondering how can Bitcoin by itself be a global currency? If the whole world accepts Bitcoin, the demand for it would be high whilst supply remains capped. Each Bitcoin is going to be very expensive compared to now, which means only the rich can afford it. Wouldn't it lead to an even worse inflation compared to the current use of fiat/exchange rates between different countries?

Would like to seek some clarifications as to whether I misunderstood this statement, or what is the rationale behind this argument. Much thanks!

Please I need opinions
Content: Never found any info on this anywhere. I desperately want to go camping but the date is September 15th. Right when I think the bull run is going to go crazy. (Where I camp there is no reception and certainly no access to my cold storage)

Anybody ever been in a situation where you wanted to sell but couldn't?

I'm honestly considering canceling my camping trip so that I don't miss out... but it's like.... I'm putting my life on hold for crypto... doesn't feel right... but also wouldn't feel right if I go camping and miss out on a peak. M

Crypto beginner
Content: Hi! I just graduated from college in science management and throughout my 3years I thaught a lot about investing in crypto and I think this might be a good time. As a beginner I had a few questions I wanted to share with the community:

1.
How well should I diversify my portfolio? (I am thinking about investing 1-2k at the beginning and try to spread this investment in different currencies)

2.
What kind of strategy should I have? (By this I mean, how much should I search info about a currency before investing; what kind of vision should I have and how much risk % can be forcasted).
Thank you guys very much :)

Liquid Bitcoin
Content: Hello. I know the very basics of bitcoin, but i have some trouble understanding how liquid bitcoin actually works. I understand the liquid blockchain is private, and the trust of the user is trusting the exchanges that can transform lbtc to btc.

How safe is it actually? Is it worth to use blockstream's jade hardware wallet? Is it better to use a normal hardware wallet and do transactions on thr main blockchain? If all the exchanges and blockstream somehow disappear, will the liquid blockchain still be accesible?

Thank you in advance.

How do I withdraw BTC to hardware wallet immediately?
Content: Sorry if noob question but I just made a coinbasepro account, linked my bank account and bought $50 worth of btc as a tester run. I set up my ledger nano s as well. The issue now seems to be that coinbasepro won't let me transfer/withdraw my $50 worth of btc until the funds have cleared (about 6 days). My understanding is leaving btc on the exchanges is not secure and best practice is to move it to the hardware wallet immediately. Can someone help fill in the gaps for me here? I dont feel comfortable buying larger amounts if my btc has to sit out on the exchange everytime for x days before I can move to my hardware wallet. Thanks guys.

I was plagiarized, feelsbadman
Content: I have spent years in this space and have grown to love so much about this community. One thing I can’t understand is the scummy element that inevitably comes when there is some money to gain. Rug pulls, shitcoins, etc. Now plagarism can be added to the fray. The other day I wrote an original article for r/crytpocurrency reviewing and comparing various crypto debit card solution. It took me months of using these cards in order to write a well informed article to hopefully help everyone out!

Here is my original work. https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/p89d3p/i_have_used_and_reviewed_every_major_crypto_debit/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

This is the article which was pointed out to me by a few members of the community.

https://joyfulbusinessblog.com/the-5-best-major-crypto-debit-cards-ranked/

Aside from some small changes, this is my words. I am not going to bash the person who published the article or plagarised my words. Even though it doesn’t feel great, I still stand by the words and hope that some people are helped with what I reviewed.

The article was then shared all over the place. I‘ve seen it on multiple subreddits. It’s not the end of the world but it does feel bad when you work on something and someone else tries to claim what isn’t theirs.

To everyone else:

May you see nothing but green dildos and lambos!
