I don't think Bitboy is credible, am I wrong?
Content: Hi Y'all,

The title says it all, I have gathered the impression that Bitboy isn't credible from what I have read on this subreddit but got someone replying to a comment I made on a youtube video related to him saying that he is obviously credible. I still don't feel like he is credible, but since I don't have any personal experience with bitboy could y'all explain to me why the community generally doesn’t like him?

What is the general consensus here about his credibility, and if you feel he is or isn't credible why do you feel that way?

Is Bitcoin cash a good profiting asset atm?
Content: I’m new into crypto, only been around for about 6 months now. I bought 2 BCH at $500, I kinda regret not getting cardano back then instead. Only reason I still hold out and don’t swap it over to ADA is I have noticed that bch will have huge spikes in bull runs but it just seems to be lacking right now… what do you guys think?

SmartBCH makes me really excited because it's like we are in 2013 again and there are no maxis and Vitalk is welcomed with open arm in to building on top of Bitcoin.
Content: and perhaps it can the beginning of the end for the tribalism and the toxic maximalism.

EVM IS the standard for chains with smart contract capabilities.

Eventually this will mean meta protocols will be build that allow apps to use multiple chains at once and even loadbalance between the chains.

That will unite the space again because blockchain agnostic thinking will become the norm. Use the best tool for the job and the rest does not matter. Cooperate while competing.

Just did my first Bitcoin —> Monero atomic swap!
Content: Hey fellow Moneroans….

After hearing about the mainnet atomic swap release, I couldn’t wait to give it a whirl. I brought some cash to my local Bitcoin ATM today and bought some BTC. Then, I pulled up the atomic swap guide: https://sethforprivacy.com/guides/bitcoin-monero-atomic-swaps/. I used the CLI guide and was able to successfully perform an atomic swap! The process was super easy and straightforward, at least for swapping BTC for XMR. The swap itself did take longer than expected, but it was seriously amazing to see it complete! Thanks to the COMIT team for all the wonderful work they’ve done on this.

The Seven Rules of Bitcoin Investing
Content: I am a long term hodler from 2013. Here is my personal advice for new investors, I hope it will help someone.

1.) Don't invest more than you can afford to lose. Bitcoin may go to $1M and it may go to $1. I give either one about an equal chance at this point. Bitcoin has been good to me but it is very volatile and high risk so invest according to your risk profile.

2.) Keep your coins safe, ideally in a hardware wallet . If you want to use an exchange Coinbase is at least a public company registered with the SEC.

3.) Stay away from shitcoins.

4.) Don't trade bitcoin. No one can make sense of the swings, buy and hold for 5 years and see how much you make.

5.) Don't get too caught up in in the swings. Over the years I have seen my coins go up 1000% and then down 80%. Don't get caught up in the fud or fomo, think long term.

6.) Plan your personal moon. Have an exist strategy to pay off your mortgage, college loans etc. when you hit certain amounts.

7.) Always keep some. You never know how high it will go in the future so always keep some BTC long term.

Can we all take a moment to thank China for their ultimate sacrifice by shutting themselves off from the future.
Content: China was the dominant mining force of the world. Dominant is a way that it was starting to become concerning that they hold too much power. 65% of the hashrate.

Controversies were flying around that BTC is their brain child to dominate the world economy. Well that FUD has been broken thanks to their own callousness, inability to comprehend their own power and shutting themselves off from the new paradigm.

Nevertheless they still hold 46% if the hashrate. Even despite the mining ban. However it has lost the 51% dominance and other countries like the US, Kazakhstan, etc are catching up.

The hashrate in China could continue to fall as their government keeps cracking down on the miners.

Thank you for giving us a hard reset and giving other countries a chance to catch up.
