LESSON- do not gamble away your profits
Yes we made profit on the $velvet short after manipulated data by the market makers pumped it into the liquidity zone of 0.67. However I failed to look at the current liqudity zones and had I seen it earlier I would not have called the trade. Now the MM pumped price above the trend line trapping longs. I should have waited for a 15 min or 1hr candle close to flip long. If you see such liquidity zones on the short and long side then it's best to avoid the token unless you want to hold it at 1-3x leverage and withstand the swings.

-25% stoploss reverse strategy
From probabilities if you are trading on 3-5x you are more likely to hit your break even if you reverse your position rather than adding to your initial position. When I write -25% stoploss reverse it means the trade went against me and instead of completely closing it for a loss, reversing can save you.
Depending on the price action, the reversal can turn into profit but the goal of it is save your initial capital so if it reaches your break even you can close the trade completely or close like 50-75% of it and continue the reversed position and setting your stoploss at break even.

$BTC Retail is Still Trying to Buy the Dip While Smart Traders Stay Bearish 🚨
If you think Bitcoin has already found its bottom, you may be getting ahead of the market. The latest positioning data tells a very different story. Smart traders are holding a massive $2.05B in open positions across 1,745 traders.
But here's what really stands out: 867 traders are long with $659.75M in positions, yet they're sitting on $35.63M in unrealized losses with an average entry of $65,625.80. On the other hand, 878 traders are short with $1.39B in positions and are already up $54.07M in unrealized profit, with an average entry of $64,684.45.
The crowd keeps looking for a bounce, but smart money is still leaning to the downside. The notional long/short ratio sits at just 47.44%, while 81.77% of short traders are currently in profit compared to only 22.95% of long traders.
I'm staying bearish for now because the positioning still favors the sellers.
