South Korea is Officially Recognizing Crypto Exchanges as Regulated Banks
For the first time in history, the government of South Korea has officially recognized crypto exchanges as regulated financial institutions and banks.
Here are the 3 important events about take place this month:
1. RBI will be responding to the representation sent by IAMAI around insights into Blockchain, cryptocurrency, its use cases and regulation. The ball is now in RBIโs court to go through this and respond within the next few days
2. Subhash Garg Committee will be submitting its draft on crypto regulation in India. Itโs going to be very crucial as this draft has the potential to overturn all other confusion if the Government of India decides to regulate crypto. Banks will then have to provide banking facilities in such a scenario
3. Stay order request on RBI ban to be heard on 20th July in Supreme Courtalong with remaining petitions
