August is over, and we’re diving into fall

August officially closed with BTC up 25%—the best month since February 2024. And to the younger members of our audience, happy Knowledge Day—learning is power (including in crypto) 👍

Looking at the charts and the market over the past 24 hours, the situation hasn’t changed: expectations and targets remain the same. Inflows into ETH have resumed, retail activity has dropped slightly, and leverage has increased.

Things are heating up in Intraday: the market is offering plenty of opportunities to trade. On-chain, there’s practically a mini-alt season on Robinhood, and BSC is trying to keep up as well. So while the opportunities are there—you need to capitalize on them.

The key is not to get carried away and to remember to take profits. As for the on-chain season, we may already be approaching the peaks.

A similar situation occurred during the last BSC season: lots of early-stage projects on X-chains, listings on exchanges—and after that, the market made its final move and the rally ended.

Just to give you an idea of what's going on with Robinhood 👀

Currently, 86% of all tokens in the top 500 are listed on Robinhood.

DEX trading volumes are hitting new highs, already at $1.47 billion per day, practically overtaking Solana.

⚠️A hacker drained an estimated $75 MILLION from a Cronos lending protocol, forcing the entire blockchain to HALT in the middle of the attack.

The attacker reportedly drove up the price of Tectonic’s thinly traded TONIC token 100-fold in just 20 minutes, then used the inflated collateral to borrow millions in other assets.

Cronos froze the network before most of the funds could be withdrawn, leaving roughly $69M trapped on-chain while only about $6M was transferred to Ethereum.

Tectonic had roughly $122M in TVL and $83M in active loans before the exploit. The $75M estimate has not yet been independently confirmed by Tectonic or Cronos.

Crypto.com says its app and exchange were not compromised, while its security team is assisting with the investigation.

❓ Will we break another pattern in this cycle?

Every time BTC closed August in the black, September followed with a loss.

In August, Bitcoin took the top spot among all assets, surpassing even sugar and cocoa. And this is despite the fact that August is historically considered one of the worst months for Bitcoin.

The last time this happened was in 2024.
