Premium paid points the same way. For most of the past year, traders spent more on puts than on calls: puts led on 234 of the last 365 days. That flipped after mid-August. On a 30-day average, traders now spend about $17M a day more on calls than on puts, about half the widest gap on the chart.

This is optimism building, and it can turn into froth if price stalls while traders keep paying for upside. History gives the setup no clear direction: in 13 past episodes since 2020 with short-dated calls this expensive against puts and volatility this cheap, Bitcoin was higher a month later in 7.

The price is still holding above the important $4.30 level and therefore the blue scenario remains plausible. The easiest way to look at this is to take this week´s low at $4.62. As long as the price can hold above it, the direct upside reversal attempt remains intact.

The price has failed to form a 5-wave advance. Now I am watching if this turns into a larger 3-wave bounce. XRP is now approaching the 61.8% retracement of the last bounce. However, probabilities for a deeper wave 2/B have increased.

SUI needs to form one more high for this bounce from the Summer low to be a 5-wave pattern. As long as this is only a 3-wave move, the risk for more downside remains high. The $1.36 area is the next resistance to watch.

#BTC/USDT ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is consolidating within the ascending broadening wedge pattern and is currently holding above the support trendline.

The 100MA is acting as a key resistance barrier. A solid breakout above this level could trigger further upside and strengthen bullish momentum.

On the other hand, a breakdown below the wedge’s support trendline could lead to further correction. Keep a close eye on upcoming price action for confirmation.

Our $ETH resistance area for the weekend is located between $2421 and $2491. To improve the immediate outlook, a break above this zone is needed.
