Bounces. This type of price movement occurs when trading volumes approaching a level are insufficient to overcome it, resulting in a price bounce in the opposite direction.
In bounce trading, the key moment is to identify the density level that will not be broken at this stage. It is also important to pay attention to the price movement as it approaches the level. Usually, the price approaches the level sharply, without visible retracements or intermediate corrections. This price movement indicates that the market is in an overbought/oversold condition and is moving by inertia, which can lead to a bounce.
When applying a bounce strategy, traders enter a trade against the current trend when the bounce criteria are met. Similar to breakout trading, entry and exit from the trade are done in parts, and the stop-loss is set just beyond the density level.
