Hackers drained ~24M USDC from the AFX Trade cross-chain bridge on Arbitrum after compromising validator keys. The bridge required 5 of 7 signatures to authorize transactions—and the attackers obtained them, allowing the smart contract to release the funds as designed.

The damage didn't stop there:

🔹 Verus cross-chain bridge lost over $7M after another liquidity drain.
🔹 B² Network suffered a ~$4M exploit targeting its liquidity pool, forcing the team to temporarily pause B2 staking while promising full compensation.

The incidents are another reminder that cross-chain bridges remain one of the biggest attack surfaces in crypto, with compromised validator keys continuing to be a major security risk.

⚖️ Telegram faces another legal challenge—this time in Australia

Australia's eSafety Commissioner has launched legal action against Telegram, accusing the platform of failing to promptly remove terrorist content reported by users in late 2025.

👀 According to the regulator, 10 out of 12 reported posts—including ISIS execution videos and footage from the Christchurch and Buffalo attacks—were not removed quickly enough, while related accounts allegedly remained active.

Telegram could face a fine of up to A$54.6 million (around US$38 million). At this stage, Australian authorities are not seeking to block the platform, with the case focused on content moderation compliance.
