Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has been granted a presidential pardon. CZ stepped down as CEO in November 2023 as part of a plea agreement and served a four-month prison sentence in 2024 after pleading guilty to U.S. anti-money laundering violations.
Following the pardon announcement, BNB surged 5%, reclaiming the $1,150 mark.
