Until August 18th this trade is likely to do well. Of course confirmation is key.

Also on August 18th the spot market for DOT opens, 3 days after that there will be a redenomination where every 1 DOT will become worth 100 DOTs (automatic process nothing to worry about even for DOTPERP) because the max supply is now 10M and is not conveninent for transaction fees on the network etc so they're boosting that to 1B tokens max supply.

Being that many traders in this market are retail uninformed traders, they'll likely think this is a dump and sell or short the market. That would be confusion, confusion I'm willing to spot buy later on.

For now (next 10 days) DOTPERP is what we're trading.
