WARSH PUTS INFLATION FRONT AND CENTER
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh struck a hawkish tone, saying the Fedβs priority must remain price stability.
Warsh said summer inflation data improved, but underlying trends have not meaningfully changed. The Fed must be confident inflation is returning to targetβor βwe have work to do.β
He reaffirmed the 2% PCE inflation target as βfirm and fixed.β
Meanwhile, the economy remains resilient: consumer spending is healthy, labor markets are stable and business investment is rising rapidly.
Warsh also said financial conditions are difficult to describe as restrictive, with credit markets showing few signs of policy restraint.
At the July meeting, a βgood majorityβ favored waiting before changing rates.

π¨ALERT: If you use Claude, you could LOSE your crypto to malware without ever knowing you were hacked.
The campaigns targeting Claude users spread infostealers that silently grab passwords and browser data, putting exchange logins and hot wallets directly at risk.
One user got hacked through a download link served inside his own Claude chat, from a copycat site bundling malware.
Worse, his backup hid a fake SKILL.md file rigged to silently reinstall the malware EVERY time the AI loaded it.
These campaigns hit 29 organizations in just two days, per Huntress.
