Blockworks Acquires Messari for Over $10 Million, Far Below Its 2022 Valuation

According to WSJ, crypto data and research platform Blockworks has acquired rival Messari for more than $10 million, according to a person familiar with the matter. Messari was valued at approximately $300 million during its Series B funding round in 2022. The deal comes after a period of management changes and restructuring at Messari. Following the acquisition, Messari CEO Diran Li will join Blockworks’ leadership team. — link
