💗 Applied to several roles this week? Keep a simple record before they all start blending together.

You don’t need a complicated tracker.

For each application, save:

» Role + company
Obvious, but useful once you’re applying to several similar positions.

» Date applied
Helps you understand how long each process has actually been open.

» Current stage
Applied, recruiter screen, interview, assignment, final stage, waiting.

» Last contact
When did you last hear from the company?

» Anything you learned
Salary, team structure, location restrictions, interview stages, scope changes.

This becomes especially useful once interviews start.

You can prepare properly, follow up with the right context, and compare opportunities without relying on memory.

A simple spreadsheet is enough.

🔈 Working at a crypto wallet company doesn’t automatically mean becoming a blockchain developer.

Wallet teams can include people working across:

• product engineering
• blockchain integrations
• security
• infrastructure and data
• support and user education
• partnerships

And many of those skills can come from fintech, SaaS, cybersecurity, technical support, software engineering, infrastructure or business development.

The blockchain part changes the environment, but not every career path starts inside crypto.

We just published a new article in our The Work Behind… series breaking down what these jobs actually involve, which skills transfer and what to look for when evaluating wallet roles.

💗 Trying to get your first job in crypto? Don’t start by searching every role at once.

Pick one area first:

» Community / Support
Good if you like helping people, explaining things and working closely with users.

» Marketing / Content
Good if you enjoy writing, social media, research or turning complex topics into simple content.

» Operations
Good if you’re organized, detail-oriented and like improving processes.

» Business Development / Partnerships
Good if you’re strong at outreach, communication and building relationships.

» Product / Engineering / Data
Better if you already have technical skills or want to build them.

Then look at real job descriptions and note what keeps appearing.

Those repeated skills become your learning list.

You don’t need to understand every part of crypto before you apply.

You need one clear direction, enough context to understand the role, and proof that you can do some of the work.
